  • Student/Staff Card Access: Access the lab with your own card only. Do not let anyone in. Allocate time for signing up and booking equipment. Please make sure to sign up for the booking system which will take a week before you can use the equipment.

  • Bookings Required: Head over to , click on the “Book Equipment”, then it should take you to the booking system called iLab. The instructions to create an account for iLab will be shown in your canvas course. Equipment and workstations must be booked in advance. Unbooked use may result in restricted lab access.

  • Cancellations & Time Limits: Adhere to session time limits to allow fair access to all users. Cancel bookings promptly if unable to attend to free up equipment for others.

  • Clean Hands: Ensure hands are clean and dry before using any equipment to avoid dirt, grease, or moisture that could damage devices.

  • Lab: Keep the lab clean. Take all personal items and trash with you; any items left behind will be discarded. No food and drinks are allowed in the lab. Exceptions of water bottles with lid in case of cyber motion sickness.

  • Locker Use: Store bags and personal belongings into the lockers every time you enter the lab. Be sure to remove all items after your session to avoid clutter and tripping hazards.
